There is enormous global excitement surrounding the eclipse, although it will not be visible across the entire planet. The total eclipse will be visible in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, crossing from Galicia and reaching the Balearic Islands.

The Porto Cristo area is an excellent choice for viewing the 2026 solar eclipse, as it offers a clear, unobstructed view towards the south-west and the sunset.
